Ice Delay

This is a photograph of my driveway at 7:30 in the morning. The two to five inches of snow forecast didn't pan out, we were graced with some snow and some ice instead. After the front went through we were left with  wind, so what snow we had now was blowing and drifting, leaving ice behind.

The kids and I had a two hour delay again due to road conditions. We went out and scraped the ice off of the driveway, played some games, and read some books before heading off to school. We were in agreement that if we needed to be late again we would rather have more snow to play in - with less wind and ice.
